“Wooden Rose”

The druggy teen from the Northeast,

Another lost in the border city,

Her friend, woodworker from the capital.

The wooden creamy rose on a wooden stem

On a wooden base.

The woodworker, with red spray,

Writes a name.

She takes the money, gives it to him.
