WHY MUST BULLETS FLY?

Why Must Bullets Fly

It’s all about the war
In my Mexico
If you’ve never been there
Then you don’t know
It’s all about the war
In my Mexico

Children trained
With money and guns
Gone are the days
Of innocent fun
Children trained
With money and guns

I sit and watch
Families die
Why oh why
Why must bullets fly?

In the parks where
My mind used to play
I kicked the ball
And traveled each day
In the parks
Where my mind used to play

Her beauty has left
No more dignity
Someone one took
My motherland from me
Her beauty has left
No more dignity

I sit and watch
Families die
Why oh why
Why must bullets fly?

They say America
Is the land of the free
But in my Mexico
It just can’t be
They say that America
Is the land of the free

Start my truck
It’s time to go
Take me back
Back to my Mexico
Start my truck
It’s time to go

I sit and watch
Families die
Why oh why
Why must bullets fly?
