Why Do We Say?

Why do we say
Drugs are bad for you
When they’re not

Why is it not right
To say
Drugs are good for you

D-R-U-G-S
We make signs
And slogans

Just say no
Drugs are for thugs
Don’t do drugs
Drugs are ruining our country

Our policies?
UIL high school drug testing
Employee random drug testing
Federal criminal drug testing
Government worker drug testing
Professional athlete drug testing
Performance enhancement drug testing

And yet what for
For what good
Exactly who gains
And who looses
By drug testing

Why must people constantly perpetuate lies
Why don’t people don’t like saying the truth
Why don’t people say what really needs to be said-
Do drugs

Drugs are good
Good like a blow job
Good like a warm winter caress
Good like an asprin
To relax and relieve stress

Why not tell the truth
D-R-U-G-S
Are good for you

How many
College graduates
Graduated because they used drugs

How many
Hollywood rock star junkies
Survive and thrive daily
By using drugs
Who’s putting them down
How about corporate America
Bush and Budweiser
Halliburton and Shell
President George Bush
President Salinas de Gotari
Everyone is in the drug business
One way
Or another

Why not give it straight
Do one drug for this
Do one drug for that

Infants are given drugs
Adults are given drugs
Children and elders
Given drugs
Look at the wealthiest population
Drug dealers
The greatest percentage
Legal drug dealers

So why do we say drugs
Are bad for you
When they’re not

Perscription  drugs
Non-perscription drugs
Over-the-counter drugs
Black market drugs
Natural drugs
Time-released drugs
Synthetic drugs
Organic drugs
Drugs in food
Drugs in drinks
Drugs used by
Physicians
Crooks and
Shrinks

Drugs for your d**k
Drugs for her p***y
Drugs for the muscles
Make a man from a wussy

Why do we say they’re bad
When they’re not

Why not teach drug etiquette instead
Like the medically funded charter schools
This drug in the morning
This one after lunch at noon
This one around 5 o’clock
One after work or school
One at night too
Now you’re talking
Learn about drugs
Which ones to take
When and where
Regulate it
And the next day
Do it all over again
It will help
You can depend on it

He wants to smoke a joint
Let him
She wants him on Prosak
Let her
One’s a corporate game
The other an illegal act
Both are drugs
Viagra makes you taller
Marijuana makes you small
But the one who makes the money
Does not care at all

Drugs are all the same
Alcohol a good one too
Think of all the positives
It can do for you

Just say no
Drugs are for thugs
Don’t do drugs
Drugs are ruining our country

First you know
Pay then go
Drugs are good
My studies show.
Even though
Their side effects may cause nausea and vomiting
Occasional mood changes and temporary high blood pressure
Do not take them if you are pregnant
Have diabetes or any urinary diseases
Or if your erection last more than 48 hours
Consult your local drug dealer
And see if drugs are good for you
