After a series of new wars’ discussions:
Africa and Asia,
We walked on.
I saw silver water beads at a street sign’s bottom.
They hung on – and on.
Orange leaves coated the wet street.
The sun was nearing the tree tops.
We’d talk wars tomorrow,
And I’d be anxious to see if the silver water beads – new ones –
Would be on the sign.
