“Thoughts, Limits and Specks”

Aware I am that

The white orange blossom scent at side,

The creamy dawn behind,

The noisy step step with walking stick

Are nearing the last.

Acres of sorghum,

Just up,

Cattle food.

Thousands of vehicles,

Gas swallowing.

Paved highways,

Earth crushed, moved.

Sun in clouds,

Wind and dust swirl.

A speck I am.
