As I sat within the theater I viewed
Agents strapping the hero of the movie
(The one written to win)
into the suicide machine

I knew he would not die
Like so many others had done
They had a part in a different script
…The real one

So Hollywood reveals at the
Bidding of her masters
The variety of some of the modes
And methods
Of this death machine
Amongst the plethora

You see homicide is on the side
Of the men who rule the machines
The ones behind the scenes

The movie goers wander out
Milling about
Glad the hero had somehow won
Scared but somehow reassured

Thinking:” That’s just how it is
But that’s nothing I can do anything about”

Go on to the safeness of thy home.
For now
