The Last Redoubt

They’ve chased us down through time
Scourged us from all corners of the earth
And still we come
To the field of the last stand on earth
Not Armegedon

No not just yet

America it is called by some
Land of liberty that sweetly talks
To all of what they can be
What they can see
And all that they can say

And the mobs of lynchers and
Sad and mad humanity
Like a hyena pack is out to chase down
Freedom and hang it’s corpse
Up to rot just like in the old south

We are all black men now
Especially the white ones

Where from comes all the hate?
As in Roman days so now as of late
Barbarians are at the gate
And the mobs have their circuses
The nobles and party elite
Have their perversions
And the beat of their hearts
Beats so weak

Those that really hate
Start with themselves

Who will stand at Freedoms last gate
Here in the last redoubt?
