Why have I loved so many women?

Can’t help but question why

They all looked to me for answers

I had none, and they cried

She was the beauty I was searching for

Yet I wake up all alone

You may walk the streets of heaven brother,

Even there a man needs a home

Venus arms reach out to hold me

She thought her love had found a home

A bitterness grows her heart

When she finds every dream gone

With the morning sun.

Why have I loved so many women?

Wasn’t always wise but mostly fun

Against all odds the time has come

When its do or die settle down

Or remain alone

So come to me little darling

Don’t leave me on my own

Here is the home on earth where

We will build a heaven

And no more will we roam

Why have I loved so many women?

Wasn’t always wise but mostly fun

Against all odds the time has come

When its do or die settle down

Or remain alone
