The sisters, warm even on the descent,

Stopped at the waterfall,

Pulled off tops and shorts,

Slipped off shoes,

Left bras and panties on,

And walked into the stream,

Over slippery rocks to the cascading spray

Where they raised their arms, laughed

And shivered under snow-melt strings ….
