I’ve been…
Pouring an ocean of sorrow onto my pillow
Perceiving hidden meanings in flower petals
Pursuing your elusive ghost in murky dreams
Placating my senses with endless Chopin concertos
Planning to elope to a nearby parallel world
Postponing conversations with my mirror-self
Percolating thoughts about you until groundless
Protecting every single one of my pores from love’s scent
Peering over the edge of madness and feeling nothing
Persistently refusing to surrender and
Painstakingly reconstructing a shattered heart.

Traducido
Despues De La Despidida
Rehuso a rendir! Reconstruira mi corazon
Que tu ha llevado a la dissolucion

wow …thank you, Edgar …the images are beautiful!
This is one of my favorite poems Julieta!! Your words ring like beautiful bells in my ears ~R
Que interensante! Did you write it first in Spanish or English? But both poems are excellent! How many poems do you have concerning a broken heart?! The Spanish version is definetely a bit different from the English one!
By the way. I forgot to mention that the poem about the homeless man is a ballad. Hmm. I certainly did not expect this form to be used for such a sad event!
