Santa Muerte Vive en Juarez

Mexico was like a second home, and it wasn’t so long ago
That the border was wide open between Juarez and El Paso
But now the there’s pain and suffering in a war between cartels
Instead laughter and chatter there’s gunshots and funeral bells

There are ugly monsters in Juarez hoy, y son muy fuerte
The only ones laughing now are the friends of Santa Muerte
Even the Virgin of Guadalupe had to stop today and cry
When a dirty needle from an alley struck her in the eye

The Chilangos and Federales allow the violence to go unchecked
They keep the war on the border, so their own homes won’t be wrecked
This is not the first time that havoc has torn through this town
Battles of the great revolution were fought on this same ground

There’s but one hope for the innocent ones to be freed from all these thugs
That hope is that the world will loose its appetite for drugs
The people of Juarez need a miracle; they have paid a heavy price
They don’t deserve to suffer from the pain of this deadly vice
