Radio host Chris Maley from public Radio FM 88 along with The Food Bank of the RGV will be at it again at Johnny’s Bar B Q in Pharr, Texas for the annual “Food for Blues” jam. $5.00 and 2 canned food items will get you in the door for an evening of great music and free Bar B Q while it lasts. Last year’s event was held Saturday, August 29th and packed the house. Get there early…the party starts around 6 pm and lasts til 10 pm on Saturday, September 25th. Johnny’s BBQ has been rockin’ the Valley for over 40 years with Tejano nights, Open Mic night every Friday, Country music on Monday nights and it’s the House of Blues every Wednesday night.
