Logan Hawkes

Logan Hawkes is a writer, publisher, broadcaster, videographer and dual resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and South Padre Island, Texas, reflecting his equal passion for the alluring mountainous west and a deep appreciation and fascination for the ancient sea and natural histories of the regions.

Logan is currently managing editor and partner of Lost Planet Media, an online magazine publishing company, whose publications include TexasLessTraveled.com, MexicoLessTraveled.com, WinterTexansOnline.com, and other specialty magazines for the online community. Lost Planet also produces audio books and provides voice-over services to the broadcast and publishing industry. You may have heard his voice on KURV and KBUC radio. In addition, Lost Planet produces two national award videos each year for Penton Media, the annual High Cotton Awards and the annual Peanut Profitability Awards. Logan also has served as a guest and contributor to the History Channel.

Logan is a contributor to Writers of the Rio Grande and helped get the website started. Having worked with the man on several projects I can say he is a true professional in the business and a great friend. Coming up in April he will be heading back to the studios at The History Channel to do some work on the “Ancient Aliens” series. Watch this clip below from the episode “Mysterious Places”:
