This, that and the other
And none of the above
Out of all these realities
I must choose one
Drain it dry and spit it out
Sail for a new dawn and with
Bleared eyes persevere the futile pursuit
Of beauty
As delineation erases…
New lines and waves of futures
Wash out all that was past

Love what is that?
The reproducing of mistakes
Creation a way to find other ways
That won’t take.

Surrender what few possessions you’ve made
Then do it again, again and again
If love can survive hate
It may not be too late.
Yet I am so easily led astray
Forging fearful into fate
To arrive, in the blessings of time.
To the home of the brave
