I am the man who has tattooed on his heart

“Only The Beauty Remains”

When all else is long passed away

Upon the sea of lies is the truth

“Only The Beauty Remains”

“Love is born in flames to die in ice”

When the tepid hearts break free

When pride imprisoned in it’s

Season of fear and frost

Shatters no matter the cost still

“Love is born in flames to die in ice”

Great gain followed by greater loss.

And “Only The Beauty Remains”

More virgin the skin, more tatted the heart

Each drawn by a genius named

“Master of Loss”

Murdered by time, the years have cost us

Be-bop, rock a billy, the blues and most all

Of the heart broken hillbillies

That pondered our sorrows

And moaned of their pain

Do not despair of tomorrow

Pop and rap still rot the young minds

Seems already it has been to the end of time

Should we be grateful?

Sterile words and worlds, lifeless go forever on

I am the man who has tattooed on his heart

“Only The Beauty Remains”

When all else is long passed away

Upon the sea of forgotten lies

The truth “Only The Beauty Remains”
