Mindless music, thoughtless body

Moving through her with eternity and brevity of innocent time

Sacharin sweet, so very splenda

But only if pursued past the lies.

For now she’s just so much sugar

I know better, but I wish her the best

There’s bad men and worse women

With all the world’s time to plan

The turning of simplicity to

complexity of pain and ugly intricacy

Of deceptions… and so she, and I, and we

Make our way through rooms both rude and complex

Through which we gain but little knowledge of

And of the little we learn

So soon we forget.

So dance little sugar, while you may

You may not dance that long

The illusion that your free

Occludes the reality

That your song is like every other one

Or different only if you dare…

And really, really care

But not too much…

That is the killer, love

Love your freedom…

The low end of the cycle arrives soon enough…

The caldera can not constrain her rage

The earth mother is off her meds

Your world shreds

little sugar,

Your song is never the same

Innocence and deception

They work as one

The bindings of intricacy and time

Will cause us all to become undone

In the slivered light glitter as one

In the occult of disorder

And all it’s deception
