Stop it!

Stop thinking that every driver you see from your feet or bike seas has never read a book.

Stop it!

Too much I and me, but ….

Add the arrogant satisfaction that I am on feet or bike, and they are blindly driving driving, mindless, mindless,

straws straws ….

Eugene “Gene” Novogrodsky late April 2017

Lying There

The heart,

4:32 in the yet-to-come-dawn.

Soft lightning.

Muted thunder.

Varied winds.

The storm, gentle.

Weak hearts on my mother’s side.

Better odds on my father’s.

Grandfather, he who ruined a Ford when he hit the brakes and milk cans spilled.

Dead abed, with Spring surrounding.

Mother, who gave up translating, art, music and a lit city for a dark farm.

Dead abed, Summer in its middle.

Now, and the storm powers.

Sharper lightning,

Booms in the clouds,

Wind speeds.

I think heart,

Hear mine,

Feel mine,

Ready … that  heritage brings me to their bedsides ,,,,
