Day at the Breach

Just another day at the breach
The machine has ground me to sand
And everwhere I look it’s more the same
No different than what’s gone down before
The man holds all the power but his power
Added, multiplied and spun still amounts to none
All the strutting in the world….
Can never make a difference now

Who taught who
Who was taught when
All I know is that it goes on, on and on
This silly game
That has no end
Boss, you are only on top just a little while
Top, middle, tangled like a knot
Then buried beneath the pile

You say then okay….
Gots to crush ‘em while there’s time

Protesters make known their displeasure
And the hirelings minioned to the man
Brandish weapons like long black teeth
Insinuating devastation to the unarmed band
One day they will more than threaten…..
