From “Songs Of El Chupacabra” and “Chingos Of Jingles

Comadre got run down by chupacabras
Running late to bingo Christmas night
You might not believe in chupacabras
But if you live in Texas you just might

She’d been drinking some tequila
With crown royal on the side
If this is natural for old ladies
She would had told everybody that you lied

But as usual in the barrios
Full of chisme storylines
Now they’re saying that she left home
For the young guy that gave her the apple wine

Comadre got run down by chupacabras
Running late to bingo Christmas night
You might not believe in chupacabras
But if you live in Texas you just might

Compadre Joe is somehow happy
Even though comadre’s gone
Forty years of blissful marriage
Might make someone come to senses and then run

But the truth is hard to swallow
When the truth is hard to hide
Chupacabras trample grandmas
Especially when they won’t move aside
(move aside)

Comadre got run down by chupacabras
Running late to bingo Christmas night
You might not believe in chupacabras
But if you live in Texas you just might

The menudo’s on the mesa
And the tamales good to go
Los bunelos nice and crispy
It be a shame not to eat the meal you know

But then comadre crashed the party
Walking off the hit and run
Trashing-talking all the Chupacabras
After sleeping off a night of crazy drunk

//Comadre got run down by chupacabras
Running late to bingo Christmas night
You might not believe in chupacabras
But if you live in Texas you just might//
