Beware Aquarius

Beware Aquarius

with your idealistic eyes

and your new flesh

I am a scar

Beware Aquarius

with your measured waltz

and you’re inquisitive nature

I am a dichotomy

and a sea of possibilities

forgetful as can be

not precise

a bit off beat

Beware Aquarius

I tend to be a bit high strung for your taste

louder than all the voices that are tragic in your head

with vivid colors and bittersweet experiences

do not question where I’ve been

a lady never tells

Beware Aquarius

sometimes its bloody here

and sticky here

and neurotic here

more than often

overcast and grey

and the music of the morgue plays often here

it’s the British North Sea here black and cold

Poe and Plath are recited often here

Welcome Aquarius

sometime days it’s like Jane Austin here

Victorian beauty here

like a Shakespearean dream here

On certain days it’s filled with the melodies of Ben Harper here

played just for your Aquarian ear to hear

Be warned Aquarius

welcome Aquarius

it’s a beautiful mess here
