The first two hours of this Alex Jones Podcast concerns South Texas, the Mexican-American Border and of course, the drug war and it’s attendant criminality. This unfortunately is becoming the major driver and factor in all other news and activity on the border.
Alex is simulcasting over Prison Planet Tv and infowars.com, by means of new Skype technology from the Rio Grande Valley, somewhere around Brownsville and South Padre Island. He covers in fine detail the history of drug smuggling starting from the Opium Wars that leading families in the US and Britain planned and executed in the 19th century, on up through the United States prohibition era of the 1920’s and the beginnings of the drug war in the 1930’s right on up to the chaos that we have today in Mexico and on the border. Of course there is the CIA, the FBI, the Mexican Government, the different cartels and much more. One amazing feature pointed out in the broadcast is that over the last 150 years the cast of characters and the families involved have not changed that much.
There also is a live on the air report from a not to be named source in the Rio Grande Valley.
It is tour de force and well worth the listen.
