A Scratch on the Face of Time

Wedding Scratches

Wedding Scratches

A scratch on the face of time

Aging is kinda unkind

Too much will blow your mind

A scratch on the face of time

Love that fuels the songs

The future has come and gone

Sooner or later it won’t be long

Love that fuels the song

The inebriate speak the truth

Connected to the fountain of youth

Green, yellow, red and blue

The inebriate speak the truth

Barking like Spanish dogs

Mournful English howls

Memories like fallen logs

A scratch on a face that growls

A scratch on the face of time

Say brother can you spare a dime

I’m often the lost man I find

Life aint nothing

Life aint nothing

Life aint nothing but

A scratch on the face of time
