“There she goes”

Tiny Honduran girl,

Seatbelt fastened,

Stares up the aisle;

The jet shudders,

The jet tilts.

She stares.

She shuts her eyes.

Her dreams?

Before take-off,

A heavy bag carrying family,

Disneyworld-bound,

Walked past to seats –

And never saw her ….
